PURPOSE:To make it possible to cope with various kinds of containers to remove those from a high speed conveyer, by providing such an arrangement that a pusher engaging member is reversed in accordance with a container removal signal from an inspection device to move a pusher to a container removal position along a guide member, and therefore, a defective container is removed from the conveyer. CONSTITUTION:During conveyance by a main conveyer 2, a defective bottle 3b is detected by means of an inspection device 9 which therefore delivers an output signal to a solenoid valve belonging to an air cylinder 22. Therefore, the solenoid valve is operated, resulting in that an abutting member 24 abuts against a pusher 10 having been displaced, and when an arm 15 is reversed at the position A, an engaging member 18 makes into contact with a guide member 18. Further, due to the displacement of the pusher 10 toward the downstream side, a roller member 16a start to move toward the conveyer 2 together with the pusher 10 just after the reversing of the arm 15. Then, at the position C a member 16b also starts to make into contact with a guide rail 20, and at the position D both members 16a, 16b are moved together with the pusher 10. During this movement the pusher 10 is projected toward the conveyer 10 so that the defective bottle 3b is pushed out onto a turn table 26. At the position E the member 16a makes into contact with the guide rail so that the defective bottle 3b is pushed out, completely.
