A motor vehicle gearbox includes a main shaft (1) and a driven shaft (2) carrying respective meshed gears, and an intermediate reversing shaft (3) carrying an idle reverse gear (12) which is slidable to couple corresponding gears (11, 17) carried by the main shaft and the driven shaft for the engagement of reverse. Means (22 23, 24, 25, 28) for synchronising the engagement of reverse are provided, which are carried by the intermediate shaft (3). |
