PURPOSE:To prevent cooling water for an engine body from flowing back, by installing a drain hole in a cooling water collecting part of a muffler, connecting a bypass hose to it, and opening another end of the hose to the outside at the rear of the hull. CONSTITUTION:In case of a muffler 5 consisting of an expansion chamber 3 and a silencer 4, a drain hole is installed in a bending part 7 of the expansion chamber 3 turning to a cooling water collecting part, and one end of a bypass hose 9 in connected to it. And, another end of the hose 9 is opened to the outside of the holl 1 at the rear of the hull 1. With this constitution, cooling water is not collected in this cooling water collecting part even at the time of sailing at low speed so that the cooling water will not flow back to an engine body even if the hull is tilted.
