PURPOSE:To disperse selenium uniformly into a resin by dispersing selenium in the form of selenium sulfide into the resin to prepare a photosensitive body and heat decomposing it into selenium and sulfur. CONSTITUTION:The fine selenium sulfide powder is precipitated by adding a sulfurizing agent, such as hydrogen sulfide, to a resin solution containing selenium dioxide, and the layer coated with said solution is dried at a temperature of about 60 deg.C and heated to about 150 deg.C to decompose the selenium sulfide into selenium and gaseous sulfur, and this is released into the air, and the selenium is dispersed in a fine powder uniformly into the resin, thus permitting an electrophotographic sensitive body superior in electrophotographic characteristics to be obtained. |
