PURPOSE:To continuously provide dissimilar metal partial clad layers on the surface of a striplike metal sheet with good dimensional accuracy and also, at constant intervals by a method wherein a striplike adhesive tape is cut by superposing on a striplike metal foil formed with almost square holes and stripwise-cut adhesive tapes having metal foil pieces are dividedly formed. CONSTITUTION:Square holes 3 are formed in a striplike metal foil 2 at the prescribed intervals by a punching work and a striplike adhesive tape 1 having a width wider than that of the holes 3 is bonded by superposing on the striplike metal foil 2 in such a way as to cover metal foil parts 2A existing between the holes 3 and the holes 3. The bonded striplike tape 1 and striplike metal foil 2 are cut in such a way that 4 cutting lines, which pass the inner side parts of all the holes 3 from their bilateral edges, are formed and 3 stripped adhesive tapes 1a, each having numerous metal coil pieces 2a at the prescribed intervals in the longitudinal direction, are dividedly formed. Partial clad layers are formed on each striplike metal sheet using the obtained stripped adhesive tapes 1a bonded with the metal pieces 2a at constant intervals. |
