A magnetic circuit arrangement provided with a current coil which includes a separate magnetic circuit part 2 with which the magnetic field generated by coil 1 is fed from one end of the coil's magnetic longitudinal axis (coil axis) to its opposite end. Coil 1 is also made of a magnetic material and thus forms part of the magnetic circuit. To minimize the number of connection points magnetic circuit part 2 is made up of at most two parts and to equalize the density of the magnetic flux on the area around the end of coil 1 the air gap 3 between the end of coil 1 and magnetic circuit part 2 is varied in the direction of the radius of coil 1. <IMAGE>
