摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled nonmagnetic cold rolled steel sheet having high strength and toughness at extremely low temp. by providing a composition contg. prescribed amounts of C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, P, S, N, C and O and a specified austenite grain size number. CONSTITUTION:This nonmagnetic cold rolled steel sheet for the sheath of a superconductive wire contains, by weight, 0.01-0.15% C, 0.10-2.00% Si, 16-30% Mn, 0.1-15.0% Ni, 12-20% Cr, <=0.03% P, <=0.008% S, 0.01-0.30% N and <=0.004% O (S+O<=0.010%) and has austenite grain size No.2-8 and >=0.8 gamma-value. The steel sheet has high strength and toughness at extremely low temp. as well as superior cold workability and shows high strength and toughness at extremely low temp. even after cold working.
