PURPOSE:To improve the reliability in the formation of post-process information with a simple means by forming plural printing images arrayed via blank parts in the longitudinal direction of long-sized photographic paper and along the transverse direction thereof onto said photographic paper and forming the latent images of the post-process information in the blank parts. CONSTITUTION:The printing images are successively formed on the photographic paper P and the post-process information relating to the printing images corresponding to the respective frames of a negative film F is recorded in the state of the latent image Q in the respective blank parts P0 positioned between the printing images of the photographic paper P by a post-process information recording part 14 disposed behind, for example, an exposing region 12. The post-process information recording part 14 exposes the light from a light source, for which, for example, an LED or the like is used, through a slit to the paper by using a lith film or the like. The photographic paper P subjected to such printing process is transferred, for example, continuously, to a developing part 2 where the paper is subjected to a developing process. The photographic paper P after the developing process is transferred to a drying part 3 where the paper is subjected to the drying process. The paper is subjected to necessary post processes in a post-processing part 4 in accordance with the post- process information detected by a post-process information detecting part 41.
