PURPOSE:To increase the output current value from an enzyme electrode from the time when a voltage is impressed again to the enzyme electrode by stopping the impression of the voltage to said electrode for the specified time since a sample liquid is supplied. CONSTITUTION:A means 3 for detecting the start of the sample liquid supply consisting of a light emitting element 3a and light receiving element 3b is provided at the end on the liquid feed side of a flow cell 2 and the transmittance of light changes when the sample liquid S is begun to be injected from the state in which a buffer soln. is filled in the cell and therefore the start of the sample liquid supply is detected. The output signal from the means 3 is inputted to a means 4a for outputting the stop signal and the impression of the voltage to the enzyme electrode 1 is stopped for the specified time by a means 4b for controlling the voltage impression. The voltage is again impressed to the enzyme electrode 1 after the impression of the voltage to the enzyme electrode 1 is stopped for the specified time. The hydrogen peroxide in the membrane is increased in the concn. and the large output current value is obtd. when the voltage is impressed again. |
