PURPOSE:To prevent flowing of an image by forming an overcoat layer made of amorphous (BNC)X as the surface layer of a photoconductive layer made of amorphous silicon. CONSTITUTION:The overcoat layer 13 made of amorphous (BNC)1-xXx (x is 0-0.5 and X is the third component of H, F, Cl, or the like) is formed on a blocking layer formed on a drum 1 as the surface layer of the photoconductive layer 12 made of amorphous silicon to constitute the photosensitive body, thus permitting ozone produced from a charger for electrifying the image-forming face of the photosensitive body and destaticizing it to be separated from the silicon of the photoconductive layer 12 by said overcoat layer 13 made of amorphous (BNC)1-xXx, and production of SiOx on the image-forming face to be avoided, flowing of an image to be prevented, and image quality of the photosensitive body to be enhanced. |
