PURPOSE:To facilitate the timing of instant noodles with a container, by separating and laminating a water-soluble chemical coloring by mixing and providing at least one water-permeable layer. CONSTITUTION:A moisture-permeable film 4 impregnated with a water-solube chemical, e.g. phenolphtahlein, coloring by mixing and a moisture-impermeable transparent film 5 impregnated with a water-soluble chemical, e.g. Na2CO3, are laminated to cover a moisture inlet hole 3 provided on a lid 2 of a container 1 containing instant noodles and the covered with a coating material 6. Hot water in then poured into the interior of the container 1 and steam is passed through the hole 3 and condensed in the moisture-permeable film 4 to dissolve and color the water-solube chemicals impregnated into the films 4 and 5. The coloring region is observed through the covering material 6 to determine the elapsed cooking time and degree of completion. |
