PURPOSE:To shorten the storage time of a switching transistor, and to reduce switching loss by applying the charging voltage of a capacitor to the switching transistor as a reverse bias. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary winding for a reverse bias power supply is mounted to a main transformer T2 storing and discharging energy by ON-OFF of a switching transistor Q1. A transistor Q4 is turned ON by the divided voltage of the flyback voltage of a pulse transformer T1 charging a capacitor C1 by voltage generated in the auxiliary winding when the flyback voltage of the pulse transformer T1 is generated, and the charging voltage of the capacitor C1 is applied to the switching transistor Q1 as a reverse bias.
