PURPOSE:To provide a fin for a heat exchanger to increase the heat exchanging efficiency, and to miniaturize the outer size of a heat exchanger plate including the fin, by swirling a gas to be heat-exchanged around the center post of a fin installed perpendicular in the heat exchanger plate and by letting the gas flow along the center post as well. CONSTITUTION:A gas to be cooled is sucked from intake openings 4 provided in the upper part on the side of a casing. It flows along the spiral direction which is composed of the swirling direction going to the center part of a cylindrical fin and the direction going to the bottom of a fin, that is the direction going to a heat exchanger plate 1 along the height of a fin 2. Finally the gas is discharged from a discharge vent 5 via a discharge opening 6. While it is flowing, the potential heat of gas to be cooled is transferred to the fins 2, passing through the heat exchanger plate 1 and a thermoelectric converter 3, and is radiated to the open air from a radiator provided on the radiating surface of a thermoelectric converter 3.
