PURPOSE:To improve cooling by each mounting air guides to a shaft and a bracket and directly making air in the periphery of a motor collide with a rotor conductor section. CONSTITUTION:An induction motor is constituted of a bracket 1, a stator winding 5 fitted to a frame 3, a conductor section 7 attached to a rotor core, a shaft 8 fixing the conductor section 7, etc. An air guide 12 is set up to the shaft 8 and an air guide 11 is also fastened to the bracket 1 at that time. Consequently, air from a rotor casting fan 13 is made directly to collide with the rotor conductor section 7 through a path by the air guides 11, 12 from air holes 1a for the bracket 1. Accordingly, the conductor section 7 and the stator winding 5 are cooled excellently.
