PURPOSE:To isolate the sound of a compressor more effectively by installing inner and outer cylinders, keeping a certain interval on the outer periphery of the compressor and utilizing the space between the both cylinders as resonance type sound arrester. CONSTITUTION:An inner and outer cylinders 10 and 11 are arranged so that a space 14 is provided onto the outer periphery, keeping a certain interval on the periphery of a compressor 9 for being mounted onto an air conditioner, refrigerator, etc., and the space between the inner and outer cylinders 10 and 11 forms a plurality of vacant parts 13 by partitioning the part between the both cylinders 10 and 11 into crosswise lattice form by an intermediate partitioning plate 12. Each vacant part 13 has an opened port part 15 which communicats to the space 14, and a sound arrester 16 which uses said vacant part 13 as resonance type sound arrester is formed. The material having echo effect such as metal, corrugated cardboard, rubber, and synthetic resin is used for the sound arrester 16, and the capacity of the vacant part 13 and the diameter of the opened port part 15 are determined according to the frequency of the noise of a compressor, and the effective sound isolation is permitted. |
