PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of noise from the sliding face side by covering parts between plural sliding faces with shielding members. CONSTITUTION:Shielding members are made of material of high magnetic permeability or material of high conductivity, and the whole are formed to rectangular boxlike shape as shielding members for magnetic noise and electrostatic noise. In the shielding member 15, sliding faces 7, 8 of a magnetic head 1 are inserted into holes 15b, 15c, and sliding faces 7, 8 are exposed from the upper face of of shielding member 15 with small height, and the height of the shielding member is set to cover a whole part from above-mentioned exposed part to an elastic plate 9. almost whole part from the elastic plate 9 of the magnetic head 1 to the part exposed to the magnetic disk side is covered by the shielding member 15. As the area between sliding faces 7, 8 is relatively large, intrusion of magnetic noise and electrostatic noise is prevented effectively, and malfunction of the magnetic disk device and abnormal recording etc., can be prevented.
