PURPOSE:To reduce the probability that equipment is in communication and to send 'pattern' in response to many and unspecified incoming signals by storing a facsimile original in a storage circuit previously, connecting plural information paths for sending a facsimile signal, and switching and using the information paths selectively. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 18 in case of detecting the depression of an original read-in switch 15a actuates equipment in local mode to detect whether or not there is an original at an original readout part 7 and then starts reading the original when there is the original. An image signal is stored in a memory 10 through an image signal processing part 8 and a storage and readout circuit 9. When there is a polling signal, the contents of the memory 10 are sent out of an information channel B1 to a network side through the storage and readout circuit 9, (route a-1), a switching circuit 14, (route b-1), a channel selecting circuit 3, and (route c-1) in order.
