A system for efficient and reliable corona discharge treatment of products of complicated shape having a large number of different faces to be treated. The system is equipped with a conveyor (1) for conveying the article (2) and a plurality of discharge electrodes (6) disposed along the conveying direction for the article. Each discharge electrode (6) performs activation of a part of the surface to be treated. The whole surface to be treated can be activated when the article has passed all these discharge electrodes (6), thereby enabling the surface treatment to be made continuously, while conveying the article. …Complicated shaped articles may be subjected to continuous and reliable corona discharge treating without stopping the conveyor.
