摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a blister by the exfoliation which arises when the boundary layer between a substrate surface and thin aluminum film surface is cut and to prevent the mis-reading of normal signals and the generation of a color flash by specifying the crystal grain size of the thin metallic film consisting of aluminum or aluminum alloy, etc. CONSTITUTION:The crystal grain size of the reflective thin film 2 consisting of the metal to be formed on the surface of the substrate 1 on which information bits 5 are formed is specified to 500 Angstrom. This method is also applicable to the thin reflective thin film 2 consisting of metals such as aluminum alloy, silver and gold to be used for similar purposes. Optical recording media include an optical video disk compact disk, draw disk, E-draw disk, etc., which have information bits of submicron order. The blister of the reflective thin film 2 which is heretofore generated by deterioration with lapse of time, etc. is thereby prevented and the generation of the color flash, misreading of signals, etc. by the deterioration with lapse of time is obviated.
