PURPOSE:To improve functions by adding not only merely a transfer function, but also a composite transfer function. CONSTITUTION:A control part 40 stores read information which is read by a reader part and outputs this information to a printer part during printing operation. This control part 40 and a main device part 20 are connected mutually by a spiral extensible cord formed by bundling plural lead wires. This cord is separated into the lead lines in the main device part 20 and they are connected to a lighting element 22 and an image sensor 23 constituting a reader part, a thermal head 25 and a tape take-up mechanism constituting a printer part, a changeover switch, and a generation part for timing pulses. Further, this control part 40 has a memory specifying key K and a key operation part is provided on the surface of a case while penetrating the case 11a.
