摘要 PURPOSE:To make a phosphor screen formable without using an exclusive electrode plate, by impressing voltage to an interval between different substrate's segment electrode trains, while letting phosphor particles in a dispersion solution perform electrophoresis, and making them stick to a segment electrode. CONSTITUTION:A dispersion solution 16 is one that a phosphor particle (5mum or so in grain size) is dispersed in, for example, isopropyl alcohol or a dispersion medium and trace aluminum nitrate (Al (NO3)3.oH2O) is dissolved. Identical substrates 10A and 10B on which each segment electrode train consisting of a lot of segment electrode is formed are dipped in the dispersion solution, and these electrode trains A and B are opposed in parallel with each other. When the specified voltage is impressed on an interval between these electrode trains A and B by a DC volt power source 12, the phosphor particle exercises electrophoresis in the dispersion solution 16 and is electrodeposited to each individual segment electrode constituting the electrode train A on the substrate 10A, forming a phosphor screen. At this time, the segment electrode train B on the substrate 10B performs a function as a counter electrode.
