PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibilities of losing each member and effectively prevent the release of a tape, by constituting a tape keeping member fitted to a reel under a movable condition in such a way that the member presses a tape after it is positioned by a lock member fitted to the tape keeping member. CONSTITUTION:A tape keeping member 13 is rotated to a reel 11 side and a lock member 14 is pushed into the space between flange sections 11a and 11a. then the flexible pieces 18 and 19 of the lock member 14 are fixed under bent conditions and position the tape keeping member 13. The bent tape keeping member 13 is abutted with a magnetic tape 12 by its keeping section 17 and flexibly deformed to an extended state. Since the degree of the extension determines the pressing force of the tape keeping member 13 to the magnetic tape 12, the pressing force can be adjusted by the fixed position of the lock member 14 and effectively be prevented.
