The invention relates to a non-contact-making magnetic switch having a switching element which is arranged in a holder and has sealed contacts (reed contacts). In order to protect the switch against the influence of impacts and shocks, and in order to ensure problem-free replaceability (interchangeability), the holder has a receptacle in which contact brackets are arranged, while a cartridge is provided which can be inserted into the receptacle and in which the switching element is embedded in a material which absorbs impacts and shocks, and which cartridge has contact sleeves, which are connected to the sealed contacts, for engagement with the contact brackets.
