PURPOSE:To provide a method of gap forming that does not cause variance of the dimension of gap regulated by a spacer even when parallelism of core bars is inferior by pressing both ends of one end face and the center of core bars corresponding to abutting face separately when forming a magnetic gap regulated by a spacer. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 13 is formed at a specified position of the first core bar by sputtering. The first core bar 1 and the second core bar 2 butted through the spacer 13 are inserted to a guide frame 3. Weights 4-6 split into three are inserted from an opening at the upper end of the guide frame 3. The weights 4-6 are provided with legs, and process three points, both ends and the center, of the first core bar. Thus, gap dimension regulated by the spacer 13 is obtained even when parallelism of the first core bar 1 and the second corebar 2 is inferior.
