Method for washing and cleaning fabrics without chemical detergents by electrolysis and light-wave frequencies of the spectral colours. The physical-chemical cleaning effect is achieved as follows: The sprayed-on water droplets which, like condensers, produce an optically enhanced effect like a glass prism, and in which the permeating light rays cause a total reflexion of the sun beam spectrum, energetically perform the cleaning task. Photosynthesis, photochemical reaction. The same effect is achieved by electrolysis and high-frequency rays which, corresponding to the seven spectral colours of the electromagnetic waves of sunlight, are applied individually or more than one at a time, depending on how the material to be cleaned is to be treated. The two methods of electrolysis and high frequency can be employed individually or both at the same time. Existing washing machines or cleaning installations can be retrofitted with these processes. The high-frequency radiation application may also employ corresponding coloured lamps (light sources) or colour filters.
