PURPOSE:To obtain a display device connection processing means easily possible of increasing the number of display units through a two-wire cable by receiving data transmitted through a serial communication interface on the display unit side through a serial communication adaptor, and during the transmission, turning on an LED and transferring data successively to the display unit. CONSTITUTION:The sign display device is provided with a card 1 on which a pattern such as characters and graphics is drawn, a reader 2 for converting the pattern of the card 1 into an electric signal and outputting its operated and processed result and a display unit 3 for processing and continuously displaying information outputted from the reader 2 to constitute the display connection processing means possible of connecting the required number of display units 3 in series through the two-wire cable to transfer the output of the reader 2 to respective display units 3. Consequently, the display unit 3 turns on an LED to display data by a computer and transfers the data to the succeeding digit repeatedly, so that the data can be continuously and easily displayed also on the 2nd and 3rd display devices through the two-wire system. |
