<p>PURPOSE:To make adjustment of an original (offset) resulting from secular change and a change in temperature unnecessary by pulling out a lead wire so that a potential can be detected from a side part or both side parts in a direction perpendicular to the direction where the voltage of an existing surface- like resistance is impressed or a current flows. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 2 for impressing a voltage and the lead wire 3 are formed on both sides of the surface-like resitance 1. Plural lead wires 4 are pulled out of the one of both sides of the potential inclination layer. For instance, the potential inclination is formed in the directions of the surface-like resistances 2 and 2' through electrodes 2 and 2' impressing 1 and 3' an voltage E. Said potential inclination becomes linear, and its right and left ends become E and O, respectively, if the surface-like resistances are uniform and if the resistance of a lead electrode is minimum. However, said inclination differs from its ideal due to the unevenness of the resistance of the surface-like resistance and the resistance of the lead electrode. Besides, conditions vary depending upon each resistance, secular change in temperature condition. How to change is always detected from the lead electrode 4, and the origin can be corrected.</p> |
