PURPOSE:To discriminate a read part on an original sheet accurately regardless of an original feed state by allowing a marking part to contact slidably an original receiver part which guides an original sheet. CONSTITUTION:A marking means 30 provided on an upper original guide 17 through a fitting part 31 is equipped with an arm 33 which is supported pivotally as a swing part in a swinging state on the fitting part 31 through a shaft 32 at one end and the marking part 34 which is formed freely attachably and detachably at the free end of the arm 33. The arm 33 is slanted downward in the feed direction of an original sheet W to penetrate the upper original guide 17 at a cut part 17a and project into an original passage 18. Then, the marking part 34 is pressed lightly against the top surface of a reverse original guide 16 nearby an original readout part 23 by its own weight or the elastic force of a spring 35.
