The present invention relates to derivatives of tryptamine of formula: (I) in which: R1 represents a CH2OH group, a -C 3BOND N group, or a -COOR6 group in which R4, R5 and R6 denote a lower alkyl group or hydrogen; R2 represents hydrogen or a C 3BOND N group; R3 denotes hydrogen, a CH3 group or a CH2OH group, and the addition salts of the products of formula I with the pharmaceutically acceptable, mineral or organic acids. It also relates to a process for preparing said compounds and to the drugs active on the cardiovascular system, containing said compounds.
