PURPOSE:To ensure a fixed main routine and a general-purpose subroutine program by selecting a subroutine program based on the result of the simple sequence processing. CONSTITUTION:A sequence processing means 21 supplies the input information given from an external device such as a detecting switch that detects the state of an object to be controlled through an information input means 14 and carries out the sequence processing based on a sequence processing program stored in a sequence processing storing means 20. A function-based subroutine calling means 22 calls and selects a desired function-based subroutine according to the result of said sequence processing. The object to be controlled is controlled by the called function-based subroutine in accordance with the program contents. Thus it is possible to ensure the intensive the detecting processing of all input signals for interlocking processing (decision for active or inactive state) so far carried out by both the main subroutine and the subroutine. At the same time, the subroutine programs of each function can be converted into a library.
