PURPOSE:To easily connect various image generating machines which are used currently to a digital color printer by providing a conversion table which corrects the color of the 1st image data into the 2nd image data. CONSTITUTION:The conversion table 304 converts color-processed data Y0, M0, C0, and K0 for printing into three-color separated data y2, m2, and c2 of an original. This conversion table 304 is added to perform exactly the same processes succeeding to the output of a selector circuit 305 without reference to whether an input is primary color system image data or four-color system image data, thereby making the processes common. Consequently, various image generating machines which are used currently are easily connected to the digital color printer.
