PURPOSE:To obtain a demodulating circuit having a comparatively simple constitution and to strengthen against drop-out, noise, etc., by extracting the carrier component of a recording signal from a reproduced signal, inputting the extracted component to a phase comparator and fetching the phase change timing pulse of the recording signal to a low pass filter (LPF) output so that the demodulated output of the recording signal is obtained from the existence of said pulse. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a carrier component fetched from an extracting circuit 11 is inputted to the phase comparator 12, a signal obtained by removing a carrier is fetched to the LPF 13 in the PLL circuit and a pulse signal whose waveform is shaped by an amplifier 15 is inputted to a set input of a latch circuit 16. On the other hand, a horizontally synchronizing signal and a vertically synchronizing signal separated and extracted from a reproduced FM signal are inputted to a synchronizing signal processing circuit 17, a reset signal for the latch circuit 16 is formed by the processing circuit 17 and a timing pulse for fetching latch data from the latch circuit 16 is formed. |
