PURPOSE:To improve water-proofing of a ventilating device by connecting a casing to a base plate which has a ventilation opening and a water drain hole and providing a partition to divide the inside into a first air chamber and a second air chamber and constituting so that the air which enters the first air chamber rises from its lower air blow-out opening through the second air chamber. CONSTITUTION:Air A which enters from a ventilation opening 6 becomes a rotating air flow due to the curve in a partition wall 13, and goes out of a first air chamber 14 through a blow-out opening 16. When the blast is low, most of the air flow passing through the blow-out opening 16 flows into a second air chamber 15 through an air passage 17, and flows into a room through a flow passage 11. When the blast is high, the air flow is divided to an air passage 17 and a water drain port 7, and most of water drops W1 included in an air flow B are carried by an air flow G to enter the drain port 7 and discharged with an air flow H. An air flow D that enters the air passage 17 goes up and most of water drops W2 included in the ascending air flow F flow down along the inside face of a casing 10 and return to the air passage 17, and part of water drops W2 are stopped by a protruding edge 12 to return to the air passage 17 and they are discharged with the air flows G and H. Because rain water that invades into the first air chamber 14 with high wind is discharged from the drain port 7, thereby ventilation device of high water-proofing can be obtained.
