1,109,938. Transistor pulse amplifying circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. 21 Dec., 1966 [21 Dec., 1965], No. 57123/66. Heading H3T. A pulse amplifier circuit, for reading information stored in a matrix memory, comprises a two-stage push-pull amplifier in which the first stage transistors Q1, Q2 are of opposite conductivity to those of the second stage Q3, Q4. Bipolar input signals applied at terminals 6, 7 are amplified and applied to a threshold detector Q5, Q6 to produce unipolar pulses at the base of transistor Q7. Strobe pulses applied at terminal 3 will be fed, or not fed, to output terminal 4 depending on whether transistor Q7 is switched to its non-conducting, or its conducting, state, corresponding to the absence or presence of the signal at its base. |
