PURPOSE:To obtain an endoscope easy to assemble by connecting integrally an objective optical system and an image guide fiber with an objective frame and inserting them freely insertably and detachably to one of guide paths formed on the front end part body. CONSTITUTION:At least one guide path 4 opened to the outside in a front end part body 2 is formed in an insertion tube part 1 throughout in the lengthwise direction. An objective optical system 41 is connected integrally to the front end of an image guide fiber 40 by an objective frame 42, and they are inserted freely insertably and detachably to the guide path 4, and a seal means 48 which seals water-tightly the part between the objective frame 42 and the guide path 4 and a fixing means 47 which fixes the objective frame 42 to the front end part body 2 are provided. In case of assembling, the image guide fiber and the objective optical system are connected integrally by the objective frame to produce an observation optical unit, and parts except them are assembled independently and completely and the observation optical unit is inserted to the guide path finally, and the objective frame is fixed to the front end part body by the fixing means.
