PURPOSE:To fix an optical cable to a suspension wire while running freely by providing a cable reel, which is connected to a self-propelling power unit and feeds out the optical fiber in accordance with running, and a fixed piece setting device which sets interruptedly fixed pieces to the suspension wire and the optical cable. CONSTITUTION:A free running power unit 13 uses a suspension wire as the guide to run and has an interrupted power transmission mechanism for inter rupted running and has a wireless or wire controller. A cable reel 14 is suspended from the free running power unit 13, and an optical cable 2 is wound around this reel 14. While the power unit 13 is interruptedly stopped, an injection molding device 15 closes a mold 16 and injects a resin. Interrupted fixed pieces 17 are formed in accordance with interrupted running of the self-propelling power unit 13. Thus, the optical cable 2 is stretched in parallel with the suspen sion wire 1 and is interruptedly fixed automatically.
