PURPOSE:To increase the rigidity in the horizontal direction of a wall to be constructed by a method in which a recession is formed by a partition plate and a projected plate provided on both ends of a reinforcing bar body, a wire is thrust through the recession into a sheath, and a prestress is introduced. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 6 is welded to one end of a reinforcing bar body 1 consisting of vertical reinforcing bars 2, horizontal reinforcing bars 3, and spacing reinforcing bars 4, and a partition plate 9 is welded to the other end of the body 1, having a sheath 14. The plate 6 is provided with a joint 11a and a projected plate 7, and the plate 9 is provided with a flange 13, a joint 11b, and a projected plate 10. The joints 11a and 11b are joined with each other and then with the adjacent body 1, and the whole is penetrated into the trench of the ground. Before placing concrete into the trench, a recession 12 is formed by the plates 6 and 9 and the plates 7 and 10. Thus, a wire can be thrust through the recession 12 into the sheath 14 and a prestress can be introduced. The wall having an increased rigidity in the horizontal direction can thus be constructed.
