1,064,975. Heat developable diazotype materials. KEUFFEL & ESSER CO. March 19, 1964 [March 19, 1963], No.50143/66. Divided out of 1, 64,974. Heading G2C. A heat-developable, two-component diazotype material comprises a support coated or impregnated with a diazonium compound, an azo coupler, a hygroscopic substance or optionally a substance to prevent pre-coupling and in the same or adjacent or a backing layer, an amine activatable at a temperature of no more than 185‹C. and optionally an amine activation promoter, the amine being of formula R1-NH-R2 wherein R1 is alkyl, pentahydroxyhexyl, carbethoxy alkyl, NH2-CO-alkyl- CO2H, arylguanyl, aminoguanyl, 2-diallylamino- 4-amino-s-triazinyl-6, thiazolyl or pyridyl and R2 is hydrogen, alkyl or guanyl or R1 and R2, together with the NH group to which they are attached form a heterocyclic ring. The specified hygroscopic substance and amine activation promoter is trichloracetic acid. |
