PURPOSE:To perform synthetic control of data by targeting even qualitative data in data control, by converting qualitative data obtained by measurement to quantitative data by a constant converting part before storing the same in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A measuring part 1 measures the component of a specimen (e.g., blood) to output the measured data to a memory 2 as quantitative or qualitative data. The memory 2 has a plurality of data control methods relating to the measured data preliminarily stored therein. A data control method selection part 4 selects one of the data control methods stored in the memory 2 to send the same to a constant converting part 5 and a data control part 6. The constant converting part 5 converts qualitative data to quantitative data by conversion shown by the table of a drawing when the measured data is qualitative one to perform data control and, therefore, synthetic data control can be performed.
