PURPOSE:In the frame mold for glass bottles, the part for the bottle parts susceptible to cracking such as the shoulder and the mouth top is made of a carbon reinforced with SiC to prevent the bottles formed from being cracked whereby the productivity is increased. CONSTITUTION:The objective frame mold is composed of the metallic part for the major body 1 and the metallic part for the bottle mouth 2 with has the air-blowing opening 3. The frame mold for the neck 2 is provided with a carbon plate 4 reinforced with SiC fixed with fixers 5, 5 on the inside surface with which the mouth top of the bottle comes into contact. When a glass bottles is made with the frame mold, cracking the shoulder and mouth top is reduced, because the glass at the shoulder and mouth top cools down more gradually than the metal frames do, thus the yield of the glass product is increased.
