NEW MATERIAL:Monoazo compound of formula 1 or their salts. In the formula I, R1 and R2 are each a lower alkyl; R3 is H, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy or sulfo group; R4 is H, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, acylamino, ureimide, etc.; A is phenylene or naphthylene; Z is -SOCH2CH=CH2 or -SO24XCH2CH2Y (wherein Y is a group which can be removed by the action of an alkali). USE:Dyes which are reactive with fibers and dye or print materials having hydroxyl or carbonamide groups. Pref., said materials are used in the form of fibers or fiber blends. PREPARATION:A compd. of formula II is diazotized and then coupled with a compd. of formula III. The resulting compd. of formula IV is primarily condensed with cyanuric chloride or fluoride and the resulting dihalogenotriazinyl compd. is then condensed with a compd. of formula V to obtain the desired compd.
