PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized multicolored electrostatic recording device which does not require a special photosensitive body and has a simple structure by alternately installing plural exposure means and developing means along the moving direction of a photosensitive body and incorporating plural kinds of toners, which have different electrostatic charge amounts and are colored differently in the developing means. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatically charging corotron 7 uniformly electrostatically charges the surface of a photosensitive drum 1. The 1st LED array 2a exposes a part corresponding to a yellow color, while the 1st developing device 4a deposits a yellow toner 6a on a part whose potential drops. The 2nd LED array 2b exposes a part corresponding to a red color, and the 2nd developing means 2b deposits a magenta toner 6b. The 3rd LED array 2c exposes a part corresponding to a blue color, and the 3rd developing means 4c deposits a cyan toner 6c. The charge amounts q1-q3 satisfy q1>q2>q3 due to the rotations of magnet rolls 5a-5c. Each formed toner image is transferred on a recording paper 11, and fixed by a heat roll 14.
