PURPOSE:To improve catchability and holdability of a paper sheet, by variably forming a distance between blade point ends receiving the paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:If an impeller rotates, a part between blades 21 and 22 spreads by pressing the blade 21 by a blade retaining plate 5, and a distance is generated between the blades 21 and 22 permitting a paper sheet to be easily received simultaneously releasing a pressure between the blades 21 and 22. Under this condition, the paper sheet, fed out from a conveying path 1, is inserted into between the blades 21 and 22. The impeller, which receives a signal by the next paper sheet passing through a passing sensor 3, is rotated by the amount of one step and prepared for the insertion action of the next paper sheet. Since the blade 21 is simultaneously released from the blade retaining plate 5, the distance between the blades 21 and 22 returns to the original condition, and the paper sheet, being held at the same time by resilience, is prevented from jumping out while the impeller is in rotation.
