PURPOSE:To freely adjust bond strength, curing rate, etc., by blending a specified carbonate compd. with a 2-cyanoacrylate compd. useful as a quick-curable adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A 2-cyanoacrylate compd. (A) such as ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate, butyl 2-cyanoacrylate, etc. is blended with a carbonate compd. selected from among dialkyl carbonates (e.g., dimethyl carbonate), alkylene carbonates (e.g., propylene carbonate), alkylene glycol bisalkyl carbonates (e.g., diethylene glycol bisallyl carbonate) and trihydric alcohol tris(alkyl carbonate), e.g., a glycerol tris(alkyl carbonate). According to the quantity of the component B to be added, the bond strength, the curing acceleration, the adhesion, etc., of the resulting compsn. can be adjusted.
