PURPOSE:To improve durability, electrostatic chargeability and image density by providing a coating layer essentially consisting of a vinylidene fluoride/ tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and polymer contg. a specific vinyl ketone monomer unit substd. with fluorine atoms at the side chain. CONSTITUTION:The copolymn. molar ratio of the vinylidene fluoride/ tetrafluoroethylene copolymer to the incorporated into the coating layer of a carrier is preferably in a 75:25-95:5 range, more preferably 75:25-87.5:12.5 range. The polymer blending ratio is preferably 50-95wt%, more preferably 70-95wt% vinylidene fluoride/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and preferably 50-5wt%, more preferably 30-5wt% polymer contg. the vinyl ketone monomer unit substd. with the fluorine atoms at the side chain and expressed by the formula. The durability, electrostatic chargeability and image density are improved. |
