PURPOSE:To enable a ribbon to be fed smoothly and stably, by inclining the ribbon-feeding roller side of an ink ribbon cassette at a predetermined angle to the other side so that a ribbon-feeding roller provided in the cassette is coaxially connected to a rotating driving element provided on a base surface. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon cassette 10 is set to a printer in the state of being inclined at a predetermined angle theta to the horizontal. The ink ribbon cassette 10 is bent into a substantially chevron-shape with the predetermined angle theta so that the ribbon-feeding roller 11 side of the cassette has a horizontal surface while the other side has an inclined surface. When the cassette 10 is set in position, the ribbon-feeding roller 11 side thereof has a horizontal surface parallel to a base surface of a frame base 20, and the center axis L1 of a ribbon-feeding roller 11 coincides with the center axis L2 of a rotating driving element 21 provided on the base 20. Accordingly, the rotation of the element 21 is smoothly transmitted to the ribbon-feeding roller 11 without any chattering.
