PURPOSE:To improve the extent of controllability, by installing a guide member in a tip part of a load cradle for loading or unloading a wheelchair or the like to or from a vehicle as bendable upward, and making operation of the guide member lockable and releasable with operation at feet. CONSTITUTION:After a wheelchair or the like is mounted on a load cradle 2 via a guide member 3 made into a horizontal position, when a pedal 9b is stepped down by a helper or the like, the guide member 3 is turned upward centering on a hinge 3a. And, when the guide member 3 comes into contact with a front end part of a wheel 13 of the wheelchair and comes into a bending state stopping the wheel 13, a lever 9a retracts a lock bar 10a in an opposite A direction against a spring 11a while coming into contact with a tapered tip end part 10b of the said bar 10a. Therefore, the lever 9a is allowed to go down whereby settled in a lever receiver 2c, and successively restored to its original position by dint of the spring 11a, thus the lever 9a is locked and the guide member 3 comes to be locked in the bending state in consequence.
