PURPOSE:To permit high weight, high strength, transmission of light, patterning and coloring and eliminate the separations or color deteriorations of patterns and colored surface by a method wherein a reinforcing material, figured by employing transparent fibers and colored fibers, is arranged on a mold and colorless and, transparent thermosetting resin is forced into the mold to cure it therein. CONSTITUTION:Parting agent is applied on the inner surface of a mold and subsequently a reinforcing member or a patterned woven cloth 1, woven by employing transparent glass fibers and colored glass fibers, is arranged on a cavity; then, uniform tension is applied on the patterned woven cloth 1 to close a mold. Next, a vacuum chamber 10 is closed and fixed to keep the inside of the vacuum chamber 10 and a mold 3 under a high vacuum, simultaneously, the mold 3 is kept under a proper temperature, transparent thermosetting resin 2 is forced into the cavity through a nozzle 6 and is cured; thereafter, a molded product is released out of the mold. According to this method, a FRP structure having a pattern whose transparent part and colored part are colored distinctly can be obtained. Accordingly, any part is filled with the reinforcing member homogeneously and a colored pattern is provided in the inside of FRP. |
