PURPOSE:To make a driver holdable without fail at the time of a sidelong turnover accident or the like happening, by installing a symmetrical pair of slide members, making a longitudinal interval adjustable, in the backside of a seat back, and attaching each side support to each tip of these slide members. CONSTITUTION:Two-in-a-set pipes 2 are installed in the backside of a seat back 1 as many as two sets at top and bottom, and each shaft 3 is fitly inserted into each of these pipes free of slide motion. Each tip of upper and lower shafts 3 projected to the same side in both directions are connected to each other by these side supports 4. Each side support 4 is constituted of a core bar 5 deposited to each end of these shafts 3 and an elastic material 6 of rubber, urethane foam, or the like to be installed so as to wrap this core bar 5. And, plural pieces of a pin hole 8 are installed in the upper shaft 3 with proper intervals opened in the axial direction, and each pin 10 is inserted into either of these pin holes 8 with each pin hole 9 of these pipes 2 adjusted whereby positioning for these shafts is made lockable.
