PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioning device which also enables execution of dehumidification only through circulation of a coolant, by a method wherein the one of two heat exchangers arranged in juxtaposition in the direction of blast is caused to perform vaporization operation, and the other to perform condensing operation to dissipate coolant heat to use it as a heater. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioning device A for a vehicle comprises a compressor 10, an out-car-body condenser 20, an evaporator 30 on the car room front side, a heat exchanger 40 on the car room rear side, and a switching means 50, and the devices are coupled with each other through a pipe 60 to form a coolant circulating passage. The heat exchanger 40 on the car room rear side is formed with first and second heat exchangers 41 and 42 connected in series through a communicating pipe 60. The switching means 50 is situated between the heat exchanger 40 on the car room rear side and the communicating pipe 60, the first heat exchanger 41 is actuated as a vaporizer, and the second heat exchanger 42 is actuated as a condenser to switch the flow of a coolant so as to allow execution of dehumidifying operation. This constitution enables execution of dehumidifying operation only through circulation of a coolant. |
